Independent power producer in Central America
We develop, build, own and operate thermal, solar, storage and biomass generation assets.
The company
International Power Ventures is an independent power producer that develops, builds, owns and operates generation assets in Central America.
Our portfolio exceeds 230 MW in operation and close to 300 MW in development, across thermal generation, utility-scale solar photovoltaic plants, battery energy storage and biomass cogeneration.
We are a long-term owner. Projects are structured to institutional standards from the outset: bankable engineering, Tier 1 equipment, long-term power purchase agreements and financing with regional and international lenders.
IPV manages the full life cycle of its assets in house, from origination and permitting through construction to operation and maintenance, which gives us direct control over cost, schedule and performance.
Development
Site origination, land, grid interconnection, permitting, PPAs and project finance.
Engineering and construction
Turnkey EPC of PV plants, battery storage and high-voltage substations.
Operation and maintenance
24/7 monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance and asset management of our own and third-party plants.
Portfolio
More than 530 MW across operating and development assets
